Our teachers are qualified to serve the ages they teach. Each has a complete background from dance institutions recognized for their excellence in dance. They continue to study to keep their knowledge with the times.

Cathrine Lockhart

Cathrine is a Colorado native that began studying the art of ballet 20 years ago. She studied dance with Richard Denny at his then school The Ballet School. She also studied with Corrine Kuhl-Reed, Nancy Vrana, Beth Huffer, and Bonnie Kibbie, all accomplished ballerinas with Colorado Concert Ballet (now Colorado Ballet). Cathrine began her teaching career with The Ballet School as a teen and now has 14 years experience teaching children through adults. During her dancing years she went to Denver Ballet Guild competitions every year, learned and performed many classical and contemporary roles, and danced as a guest artist for dance schools all across Colorado. After taking a short break in early adulthood due to injuries she resumed teaching for Richard in his new Brighton location is 2003. She has experienced great success in Brighton with her students being invited to perform at local schools, Festival of Lights, Culture fest, and National Dance Week. They have also been able to go to The Denver Ballet Guild, I Love Dance Competition, and Stars of Tomorrow.
